How to prepare for a Photoshoot?
Updated: Nov 24, 2021
Your big day has arrived! It's time for your photoshoot, but wait, are you ready? Photoshoots can be exciting and nerve-racking at the same time. You may be thinking to yourself will my smile be off? Will my shirt be out of place? Leave that to the personal stylist. If your stylist is virtual or in-person, that is up to them to make sure you look your best. In the meantime, it is up to you to check off a few items in preparation.
Checklist:
Before your photoshoot
Have you received all purchases - clothing, accessories, shoes, props?
If applicable, have you communicated with your personal stylist, hairstylist, MUA, photographer, and anyone else involved in the shoot?
The day of your photoshoot
Avoid consuming items that cause bloating 24 hrs prior - dairy products, alcohol, breads, sweets, red meats, cabbage, broccoli, and beans
Bring water - stay hydrated
Apply moisturizer - lotion, Vaseline, body shimmer
Grooming - hairbrush, comb, hair accessories, hair gel
Touch up makeup kit (if MUA not present) - foundation, powder, eyeliner, lipgloss, lipstick
Undergarments - flesh colored, body shaper, pasties, breast tape
